AirPods cases: Hard or Soft, and which one fits your AirPods

Your AirPods case goes everywhere: pockets, bags, desks and the bottom of your gym bag. A case keeps the charging case from getting scratched and makes it easy to spot. We make two kinds, and they feel quite different in the hand.

Hard case: slim, glossy, printed all over

The Hard case is made from four polycarbonate parts that clip together into one slim shell. The design is printed edge to edge, and the ink sits inside the plastic rather than on top of it, so the colors stay bright and resist scratches.

It adds very little bulk, so your AirPods still slip easily into a pocket.

Best for: a crisp, all-over design and a slim fit.

Soft case: flexible and grippy

The Soft case is molded from TPU, a flexible material between plastic and silicone. It bends to slip on, it's grippy, and it's close to unbreakable. The design is printed on the front in full color on a clear case, so the white of your AirPods shows around it.

Best for: a softer feel and a case that shrugs off knocks.
